The DSAA member company SOLVIT AFRICA is an Ed-Tech company where they pride themselves in creating employment for the youth through bridging the technological gaps between school graduation and job market requirements. SOLVIT offers training services to the youth with a major focus on client and hiring company requirements where most companies search for skills and profiles on software development, digital skills, artificial intelligence, cloud computing and much more. The company then outsources the graduates to both local and international companies where the trainees get employment contracts. The Tech Capacity Building and Outsourcing Programme was specifically designed to provide the right qualifications and skills for young IT talents to land a job in the industry and by that be able to generate a reliable income. The trainees underwent training in Python Django, UI UX Design (React.js), Laravel and Node.js. By dedicating two training cohorts solely to female trainees, this training programme put special attention on the participation of women in ICT.
